1. Have a hatred for plastic silverware. Always keep a metal spoon in my purse and use it frequently.
2. Played classical piano for more than ten years before burning out right before my hands were finally big enough to finish “Claire de Lune.” I’ve been thinking about starting up again – you know, with all my free time!
3. On bad days, I entertain my secret (well, not anymore) plan to move to Uruguay, where I am convinced that every aspect of life might just be a little bit better.
4. Who gets married at age 22? This girl, and it’s working out fantastically. I learn something about GC every day, which is why I’m tagging him to post 8 random things.
5. I’m teaching for the first time this semester and am very self-conscious – not so much about whether or not my student like me but about whether or not they like the class. Based on attendance, I suspect that many of them don’t. Am hoping that goes away after a year or two, because it might be exhausting.
6. Got pregnant again before I had time to get the tattoo I’d been thinking about getting since I was pregnant with CJC. Maybe in the Spring.
7. Love Steely Dan and am not ashamed of it. Would like to nominate “Only a Fool Would Say That” as the theme for next ASA.
8. I watch Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid a few times a year and don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of it.
