THE CONSERVATIVE AUTHORITY on the matter has now added “fiscally irresponsible” to the list of our president’s many faults. He and his staff are “surprised” at the criticism. Really? I was under the impression that he had lost his true conservative base years ago, with his out of control spending, disregard for civil rights, and attempts to amend the constitution. I was also under the impression that the White House was aware of that shift in support. Don’t they conduct polls or something? And am I the only one who listens to libertarian radio talk-shows?
